Tranter IT Infrastructure Services Limited (TITIS) is a spin-off of Tranter International Company. Tranter International Company was incorporated in November 1989 under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bookkeeper  

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• We’re looking for a young professional with excellent administrative skills that can fit in the financial framework of a company. We are looking for someone to deliver high quality financial analysis and record keeping.

Job Responsibilities

• Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day books and maintain general ledger
• Bring the books to the trial balancestage
• Perform partial checks of the posting process to ensure efficiency
• Complete tax forms
• Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
• Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner

Job Requirements and Skills

• BSc Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is a plus
• Proven bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detai
