Handyware Industries Limited is an FMCG Manufacturing Company. We are into production of seasoning, flavours, and food ingredients.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to achieve daily/shift production targets.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
• Calibrate equipment and monitor gauges, in alignment with the standard operating procedures.
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
• Setup and adhere to the cleaning and maintenance schedules of machines to prevent failures.
• Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Checklist and Manuals.
• Investigate root causes in the case of defects make necessary corrections to avoid errors in subsequent batches
• Ensure compliance to the waste management procedures put in place to manage waste.
• Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process.
• Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.

Requiremements

• Minimum of National Diploma (ND) in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering or related qualification and field.
• Previous experience in a similar role in an FMCG be an added advantage.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Diligent and enthusiastic.
• Able and willing to follow laid down procedures.
• Quality Oriented and attention to details.
• Collaborative.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
