Requirements

• The applicant must possess a good honours Degree with at least a Second Class (Upper Division) plus MLS/MLIS in Library Science or Library and Information Science
• Must have three (3) years cognate experience in an academic or research library.
• Candidates are expected to be registered (having a current subscription) with the various recognized professional bodies, as applicable, and demonstrate proficiency in ICT.
• The candidate must show an evidence of substantial contribution to knowledge through research and scholarly publications in reputable journals and other verifiable outlets, and be a professionally qualified and practicing Librarian.
