Job Description
- Our client is seeking a legal ace with excellent interpersonal skills for the role of Lawyer. The Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal topics which include negotiating and drafting contracts, trademark law, purchasing and leasing property, overseeing company mergers, negotiating on behalf of the client, and more.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and amending contracts.
- Representing clients in court.
- Negotiating on behalf of clients.
- Reviewing and overseeing business mergers.
- Drafting various legal documents.
- Helping clients with the litigation process.
- Writing commercial reports.
- Anticipating legal concerns for clients
Requirements
- Graduate Degree in Law.
- 3 - 5 years on-hand experience in Corporatble Commercial Law.
- Must be a resident of the Island, Lagos.
- Licensed to practice law in Nigeria.
- Diligence and attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving ability.
- Good project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Confidence and great negotiating skills.
