Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos

Description

• We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate must be ready to resume immediately and have at least 5 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
• Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective action.
• Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Participate in audits and prepare audit schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Proficient in using accounting software such as ODOO, SAP or Oracle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in the automobile sales and manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
