Job Title: Operations Team Lead

Location: Central Area, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Team Lead to oversee all aspects of our organization's operations.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way, improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices, and formulating strategic and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including production, inventory, and supply chain management
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Oversee and manage a team of operational staff, providing leadership, direction, and support
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve business goals
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
  • Maintain an entrepreneurial mindset to identify and pursue new business opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Operations Management or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Customer service-oriented with an enthusiasm for improving customer satisfaction
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving business goals
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify new opportunities for growth.
