Surveyor at Metwest Steel Limited (MSL)

Metwest Steel Limited (MSL) is a well established manufacturing and trading company. We emerged as a manufacturing and distributor of premium steel and non-ferrous products in West Africa. Our product portfolio includes Steel billets, rebars, sections, wires, fasteners as well as Aluminum, copper and lead ingots and more. We are fully integrated scrap-based manufacturing unit located in Asaba Delta.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Surveyor

Location: Kwale, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys on land sites and properties
• Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy
• Research and design methods for survey processes
• Use equipment and tools to accurately measure land features (e.g. longitudes, latitudes)
• Build maps, sketches, and charts
• Supervise and provide guidance to field staff
• Maintain equipment
• Report on survey results and present findings to Project Manager.

Requirements and Skills

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 5 - 10 years work experience.
• Ability to plot coordinates using of Total-station, differential GPS
• Working knowledge of GPS and GIS, Dumpy Level instrument
• Tech savvy, including familiarity with CAD software
• Attention to detail.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 / month.
