Job Title: Senior Associate - IPT and Employment
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Advice on contentious matters pertaining to infringement of intellectual property, crisis management procedures, anti-piracy, and anticounterfeit measures
- Review client policies, procedures and strategies, and identify deficiencies and areas of non-compliance
- Prepare legal opinions and advice on legal and commercial issues affecting the client’s business
- Review contracts and agreements in respect of MSE transactions
- Facilitate payment and collection of fees while making and maintaining industry contacts with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Law and called to the Nigerian Bar
- Master of Laws (LLM) is an added advantage
- Minimum of 8 years experience in core Intellectual Property Technology and Employment
- Ability to work remotely
- A strong work ethic with a positive, ‘get-it-done’ attitude.
