Job Title: Faculty / Trainer

Location: Ajao Estate and Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The faculty trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs for students and faculty members on IT-related courses.
• The successful candidate will be able to assess training needs, develop training materials, and deliver training sessions that align with the institute’s goals and objectives.
• He will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary improvements to ensure maximum impact.

Responsibilities

• Train students on curriculum as advised by the Institute
• Develop training materials and delivery methods that align with the institute's goals and objectives
• Use simple language to create and deliver training sessions and manuals that are engaging, interactive and effective for students
• Provide course exercise to keep the students updated with practical applications
• Evaluate the effectiveness of each educational session and make necessary improvements
• Improve the output of each student so as to bring value to subject specialization
• Provide support and guidance to students undergoing courses in the institute Appraise, improvise & update students with the best of subject acquaintance on regular basis.
• Conduct course gap analyses
• Maintain updated records of training curriculum and materials
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in IT education, training, and development
• Collaborate with other trainers and stakeholders to ensure consistency in training delivery in the institute
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance their own skills and knowledge in IT education.

Skills / Competence / Professional Requirements

• Must be a graduate with NYSC
• Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience/training in relevant field
• Experience training in a Tech Educational institute will be a tremendous advantage
• Must be able to write and communicate effectively
• Subject Specialization: Programming languages, C, C++, Java, .Net, Python, Oracle database, Microsoft server programs, Multimedia & Animation
• The ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• The ability to work under pressure.
