Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for an excellent business development executive to market the different vacation offers the company will have while also getting clients for other travel and tourism services provided by the company.
  • The incumbent will also lead the growth strategies of the company.

Job Duties
The business development executive’s duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Generate leads and follow-up with prospects to ensure sales conversion to clients consuming the services of the company
  • Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Engage in market research in order to identify new opportunities for business Meeting with potential investors to present company offerings and negotiate business deals.
  • Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
  • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders and customers.
  • Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge about the business and its development practices, its marketing activities, prospective clients, and the trends for the industry.
  • Participate in forums related to the industry; conferences and client discussions. In other words, act as a representative of the company.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality and Tourism or related field.
  • Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing in similar industry.
  • Skills including business team management, business proposal writing, market penetration ideation, product development, sales, client engagement, market research, and client retention ideation. Use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a plus.
