Description
- Inspect, prepare, and sling cargo to be transferred.
- Select, inspect, prepare and set-up appropriate rigging equipment for safe transfer of cargo.
- Relay instructions to the crane operator during lifting activities
- Monitor & maintain rigging equipment.
- Manoeuvre cargo using heavy equipment.
- Disassemble rigging equipment and conduct post-rigging inspection.
Job Requirements
- 5 years experience as a Rigger/Banksman/Slinger
- OPITO Stage 3 or Equivalent Rigger/Slinger/Banksman certificate
- In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery.
