Kaplo Africa - Our client, a Veterinary Hospital, is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Veterinary Doctor

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Slot: 2 Openings

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and preventive health examinations of animals and pets.
• Assess animals to determine the nature of their disease or injury.
• Implement and coordinate treatment plans for animals, and provide detailed explanations for their owners.
• Manage emergency medical situations by stabilizing an animal’s condition and determining whether a referral is necessary.
• Provide animal owners with estimates for all procedures, and ensure that final costs are communicated effectively.

Required skills and qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree or equivalent with at least 2 years relevant work experience as a veterinarian.
• License to perform veterinary services.
• Passion for the well-being of animals and coworkers.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to multitask and perform diligently in a fast-paced environment.
• Scientific aptitude and strong analytical skills.
• The ideal candidate is a natural hard worker who is deeply concerned with animal welfare and willing to support other veterinarians in delivering excellent care and treatment.
