Job Title: IT Sales Personnel

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven IT Sales Representative to join our sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
  • Explain and demonstrate IT product specifications and functionalities to potential clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and liaise with management and IT developers about sales strategies
  • Negotiate sales deals, contracts, and service agreements
  • Evaluate client feedback and provide after-sales service
  • Report on sales activities and results regularly
  • Actively involved in sales of Internet solutions such as UTM, IP Telephony, Hosting, Securit, Disaster Recovery, Cloud and Data Backup, Infrastructure, and other company solutions
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Build and promote strong, longlasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and innovations to stay ahead of the competition

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of an HND / BSc in Marketing, Psychology, or a relevant field, along with 1-2 years of experience in an IT sales environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing and sales strategies
  • Advanced proficiency in IT industry terminology and jargon
  • Exceptional ability in negotiating sales deals, contracts, and service agreements
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer behaviour, as well as industry trends and innovation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to travel when required
