Job Title: Strategic Business Development Manager
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Responsibilities
- Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new business opportunities and analyse current market trends
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the company's market share and revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and go-to-market strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to drive business growth
- Lead negotiations for new partnerships and contracts
- Monitor and analyse competitors and market trends to identify threats and opportunities
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline and forecast sales targets
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities
Job Requirements
- Master's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, MBA or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in large construction project execution
- Experience in business development, sales, or marketing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and close deals
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel as required
- Language Skills: English and French
