Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Accepting written prescriptions or fulfill request from patient and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
- Recording medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with hospital regulations.
- Delivering quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions or requests and referring them to the pharmacist for medical information.
- Verifying accuracy of patients’ information.
- Counting prescription medication, filling prescription, typing and attaching medication labels.
- Performing inventory audits and purchasing supplies and medication.
- Process patient medication.
- Management of staff in the pharmacy.
- Documentation of all invoice and drugs level.
- Dispensing of drugs in accordance with doctor’s prescription.
- Billing of drugs appropriately.
- Reordering for drugs accordingly.
- Proper checking of drugs quantity, qualities and expiry dates.
- Supervision of all activities in the pharmacy.
- Discuss and promote innovations that will improve hospital services.
- Monitoring of drugs and make sure they are used before expiring date.
- Monthly stock taking.
- Any other assignment from higher authority.
Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Pharmacy Technician License.
- Must have 1 - 3 years work experience.
- Have a good communication skills
