Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Specifications:

• The Management Accountant under the supervision of the Accounts Payable Accountant contributes to determining corporate value using financial models.
• The Trainee Management Accountant liaises with internal customers and external customers to ensure that the company’s Financial Statement, budget, capital expenditure, performance, accounting systems and controls and assets are well monitored and managed.
• Trend Analysis, forecasting and contingency planning are a critical component of this position.

Requirements

• First Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or any Social Science discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Qualified/certified / member of an Accounting or Audit professional body (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA).
• Demonstrated knowledge of ERP like SAP, Sun accounts system or Oracle accounting software will be an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other computer-based applications.
