Job Brief

• We are looking for a smart and enthusiastic Intern to join the team! This internship will provide you with a great opportunity to sharpen your Social Media  skills as well as become part of a fun & professional 7 man team in our Nigeria office!
• During the internship you will have a mentor that will guide you, answer your questions and will challenge you!
• As Social Media Intern, you will be working on the Get Global program which is a knowledge-based community and career accelerator designed to build a bridge between the African and Global tech ecosystems. We re-skill African tech professionals and support them in securing global job opportunities.
• We believe that with the right skills, culture, and experience, African software engineers can compete with the best in the world.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing?

• Create content for social media platforms, including graphics, videos, photos, and captions
• Schedule and publish social media posts on various platforms at optimal times
• Design and publish Newsletters for the Get Global community
• Monitor and analyze social media metrics, such as engagement rates, reach, and impressions, and create reports
• Respond to customer service inquiries, comments, and reviews on social media accounts
• Research social media trends and best practices to optimize the company’s social media presence

Requirements

• Strong writing and communication skills
• Creativity and the ability to think outside the box
• Knowledge of social media platforms and trends
• Familiarity with graphic design and video editing software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Final Cut Pro

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of SEO and how it relates to social media

We Offer

• Paid internship - N120,000 Gross.
• 3 months internship with mentor guidance and a possibility of employment (it will depend on your performance, proactivity, and motivation).
