Dip-Gold Human Development Foundation is a non-profit platform, established to promote empowerment, enlighten and motivate the child/youths to become national leaders. This foundation offers scholarships and educational aids/grants to children, youth adults and women. Dip Gold Human Development Foundation provides assistance to the masses in education, shelters and in the areas of healthcare delivery through training of community health workers, carrying out mobile clinics to the rural areas, organizing health screening programme for common killer diseases, family planning and immunization.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Event Coordinator

Location: Eket, Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Volunteer

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements for each event
• Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
• Book venues and schedule speakers
• Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
• Hire personnel
• Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)
• Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
• Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
• Evaluate event’s success and submit reports.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an OND / NCE / HND qualification with 2 - 5 years relevant work experience.
