Responsibilities
- Develops conceptual designs and generates detailed layouts
- Works with other engineers in other units, as well as in a supporting role within the unit
- Must be able to coordinate with other engineers and also work with them in a supporting role
- Prepares and supervises the Bill of Quantities taken by Assistant Engineers
- Participates in the development of technical proposals
- Contributes to the preparation of specifications, schedules, drawings, calculations, and any other contract deliverables when needed.
- Takes up the position of the Senior Engineer in their absence
- Assists in design responsibilities and supervision
- Prepares hydraulic calculations for utility connections in plots
- Prepares the design criteria for WTPs and STPs
- Preparation of the parameters for the design of sewage and water supply networks
- Determination of best routes for different gravity and pressure piping systems
- Strict adherence to QM/QC policy
- Performs PTN Quality management system Procedure
- Develops conceptual designs for the reviewing of senior engineers and line managers
- Training of Junior and Assistant Engineers
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Construction Engineering
- Master’s in Civil / Environmental Engineering will be added advantage
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Services Engineering within an international construction corporation
- AutoCAD, Civil 3D proficiently
- Good knowledge in the use of EPANET, HY8 and SSA (storm and sanitary analysis)
- Knowledge in the use of GIS applications
- Experienced in reviewing designs and shop drawings
- Experience in managing design documentation in accordance with PTN policy
- Teamwork and soft skills in a leadership role
- Being able to deliver jobs in time
- Good problem-solving initiative - creativity skill
