Details of Responsibilities
- The Quality Inspector demonstrates accountability for functional business and broad company objectives
- He/She will integrate and develop processes that meet overall business needs, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise
- Be involved in long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy
- Provide quality accountability and direction to cross-functional team empowered to execute operational tasks and use process improvement tools to improve process capability and eliminate defects.
- The position shall have responsibility for all quality control aspects of assigned projects or tasks including quality checks, visual and dimensional evaluations, inspection and test planning, quality auditing, and non-conformance.
- Analysis, reporting, trending and analysis, corrective and preventive actions and close out of cases
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc in Engineering, Applied Science
- Minimum of 2 years practical experience in Quality control and NDT inspection within Oil & Gas industry.
- Possession of ASNT level 11-certification in at least 4 methods of non-destructive testing technique (MPI, UT, RT, DP) is a requirement
- Technical knowledge of subsea hardware and drilling equipment and a range of subsea instrumentation, measuring and test equipment is an added advantage
- Working knowledge of drilling stem, drilling tubular product and drilling specialty tools inspection using DS - 1 standard also an added advantage and most desirable.
