We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Shop Front Assistant
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Ability to work the cash register and deal with money
- Must keep surroundings clean and presentable at all times
- Maintains a safe, clean, organized and stocked work area
- Maintains full knowledge of breads, pastries, cakes and other pertinent information
- Greets all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
- Inform customers of daily specials and menu changes
- Develops relationships with guests
- Neatly pack purchased produce for guests
- Correctly and precisely calculates each guests bill and returns change to guests quickly
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
- Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by manager
- Replenish produce
Skills/Qualifications
- OND/HND
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time
- Excellent and professional communication skills (oral)
- Active listening and efficiency
- Excellent customer service skills
- Persuasive
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organised
- Must have commitment to quality service and must be socially perceptive
- Teamwork and safety
- Ability to use machines and equipment
