Job Brief
- A top PropTech brand is looking for a talented Back-End and DevOps Engineer to join the brand growing team.
- As the Back-End and DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the brand cloud-based infrastructure and backend systems.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of the company’s systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance backend systems
- Collaborate with front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers to build and improve features
- Manage cloud-based infrastructure using tools such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability of the platform
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Design and implement data storage solutions and data models
- Maintain and improve the reliability and performance of existing systems
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Back-End and DevOps engineering
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, Node.js)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure concepts
- Experience with databases (e.g. SQL, NoSQL)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skill
