We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Distribution Expert

Location: Abuja

Key Responsibilities

• Your role as part of the overall Power team will be to analyse and review of existing distribution systems to identify core distribution challenges and make recommendations.

Core responsibilities include:

• Provide expert knowledge across the distribution spectrum gained from other work of a similar nature in Nigeria and in other countries.
• Contribute value-adding knowledge of electricity systems to the planning and monitoring of this activity.

Person Specification
The successful profile will include much of the below:

• Master's Degree, with demonstrated interest and experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of applicable electric utility experience; distribution planning work experience preferred.
• Possess a current knowledge of electric utility rules, technical, administrative, and regulatory requirements for reliable, safe operation of the system.
• Proven global experience in electricity transmissions and distribution.
• Must be able to lead teams of competent members to yield desired project results.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage relations with development partners, to work under pressure and handle politically sensitive issues.
• High level of energy, initiative, and flexibility in quickly adjusting to changing work program requirements.
• Demonstrated ability in team management and collaboration.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple changing and competing priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
