Job Title: Food Safety / Quality Control Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Description
- Ensure adherence to the Company HACCP plan, GHP and Food safety policy.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Engage relevant departments to ensure compliance with environmental hygiene standards.
- Monitor daily adherence to cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
- Ensure adherence to PPE rules.
Requirements
- BSc. Food Science / Food Science and Technology / Food Microbiology.
- 3 - 5 years work experience.
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Hygiene Standards (GHP, GMP).
- Must be familiar with ISO 22002 Food Safety Management System.
- Knowledgeable in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point.
- Knowledge of Food Quality/Safety Controls.
- Knowledge of Relevant National Food Standard.
- Understand the process of food testing including organoleptic testing.
- Proximity to Island is key.
