The Learning Place Centre is a centre for individuals with Autism and other related developmental disorders. It is the first day school of its kind located in a serene part of Lagos Island. It provides support to optimize the independent functional living of the affected. The intervention provided include Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Structured Teaching, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Music Therapy, Swimming Therapy, Physical Therapy. The main goal at TLPCentre is to prepare every client for inclusive learning, acquisition of Self Management skills and generalization of varied skill sets across board.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Speech Therapist

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time

Key Areas and Responsibilities

• Evaluation and Diagnosis
• Developing treatment plans
• Providing therapy
• Educating and counselling
• Documenting progress

Qualifications

• B.Sc in the following field: Psychology, Special Education, Linguistics, Language and Communication Arts, Language Education
• M.Sc in Speech-Language Pathology with evidence of Clinical Internship or fellowship and Continuing Education and training.
• He or she must understand the behaviorist learning principle.
• He or she must be registered and licensed with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Body in Nigeria.
