Job Summary

• We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Drilling Technology Instructor to join our team of educators. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering drilling technology courses to trainees on our drilling technology program.
• This includes planning, developing, and delivering lectures, creating and administering assessments, and evaluating trainee progress.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drilling technology, as well as experience working in the drilling industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop drilling technology courses that align with program objectives
• Deliver engaging and informative lectures that promote learning and understanding of drilling technology concepts
• Develop and administer assessments that accurately measure learner knowledge and understanding of drilling technology concepts
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to help students improve their knowledge and skills
• Provide individual support and guidance to students who require extra assistance in understanding drilling technology concepts
• Stay up-to-date with advancements and trends in drilling technology to ensure course content remains current and relevant
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure the smooth running of the drilling technology program

Qualifications / Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Petroleum Technology / Engineer
• Must have a minimum of Two (2) year working experience as a Driller, production engineer or Geophysics
• Be occupationally competent
• Have/belong to a professional certificate/group related to Drilling production
• Have been trained in instructional/training techniques and/or have proven instructing experience
• Strong understanding of drilling technology concepts and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using technology to deliver lectures and administer assessments.
