We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Graduate Account Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objection

• To support the finance department in the management of daily accounting tasks and contribute to the overall operations of the department.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with clerical work such as data entry, sorting and documents filing at the office and respective regulatory authority offices.
• Assist with bank account reconciliations
• Assist with expense tracking, monitoring and evaluation.
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Update daily, bills and records, and cross-check invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.

Qualification and Job Requirements

• B.Sc / BA in Accounting, Finance or any relevant field.
• 1 - 2 years of cognate experience in a similar capacity
• ICAN certification will be an added advantage

Specialised Knowledge:

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Ms Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Demonstrated flexibility and openness in responding to changing work priorities and environment.
• Demonstrated analytical, leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to keep confidential accounting/financial information.
• Ability to pay keen attention to details.
