They provide their clients (including visitors to our website) with up-to-date business, investing and financial information from Africa’s largest economy. They also have a consulting arm that provides bespoke financial management services to clients.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lifestyle Writer (Hybrid)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Functions: Research and Writing

Responsibilities

• The role entails a full coverage of lifestyle i.e. food, fashion, entertainment, restaurants, music, travels, hotels etc. and generally keeping up with trends and style.
• Ensure all trending topics as it relates to lifestyle are fully covered on our platform
• Conduct research to provide readers with the best options, rates and choices as it relates to lifestyle.
• Represent the company at meetings, press briefings and general events
• Conduct regular Interviews with Corporate Executives, Celebrities and prominent Individuals across various industries.
• Create and build a strategic relationship with Organisations and Individuals that will serve as a valid information sources or business partners to the company
• Be the eyes and ears of the company across your designated beat with timely and accurate stories.

Requirements

• Minimum of a BSc in English or any related field of study
• 3-5 years of writing experience in digital or print media is a must.
• Good command of English both in speaking and writing
• Effective storytelling skills
• Experience in interacting with people at all levels
• Highly social personality with good people network and a natural zeal to keep up with social trends
• Availability to work on a hybrid base.

Remuneration
N300,000 monthly (gross) depending on experience
