We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Funds Manager

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Job Type: Full Time
Level: Senior

Responsibilities

• Conduct investment research and analysis to identify investment opportunities in the capital markets.
• Develop investment strategies based on market trends, customer needs, and risk management principles.
• Manage customers' investment portfolios to maximize returns while minimizing risks.
• Monitor portfolio performance and adjust investment strategies as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate with customers to provide updates on portfolio performance and investment strategies.
• Work closely with other teams, including the research team and the compliance team, to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Attend investment conferences and seminars to stay up-to-date on market trends and investment opportunities.
• Consistently beat the market by executing successful stock/investment strategies.
• Other relevant responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in fund management, with a proven track record of generating strong returns for customers.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling and investment analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex investment concepts to a non-expert audience
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for fund management and experience working with compliance teams
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
