Job Summary

• We are looking for a Janitorial Supervisor/Coordinator to manage our janitorial team and ensure that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• An experienced candidate in coordinating and supervision of janitors.
• The ideal candidate should have experience managing and coordinating janitorial services, including scheduling, training, and quality control.

Responsibilities
The following job description sets out the duties which you are to provide as a Janitorial Supervisor/Coordinator. The lists included for the Job description are not exhaustive and further requirements may be added:

• Develop and implement janitorial procedures, standards, and schedules to ensure that facilities are clean and well-maintained.
• Train, supervise, and manage janitorial staff, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Oversee the use and maintenance of janitorial equipment and supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that facilities are clean, safe, and meet established standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their janitorial needs are met.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Keep accurate records of janitorial activities, including inspections, staffing, and supply use.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for improving janitorial services and facilities.

Basic Requirements

• Minimum of OND or equivalent.
• At least 5 years work experience.
• Proven experience in janitorial services, including supervisory or coordination roles.
• Knowledge of janitorial procedures, standards, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team of janitorial staff.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
