Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled Confined Space Entry Training Instructor to join our team. As a Confined Space Entry Training Instructor, you will be responsible for developing and conducting training programs for individuals who work in or around confined spaces.
• You will work closely with management staff and safety professionals to ensure that all training materials and courses meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for individuals who work in or around confined spaces, including classroom instruction and hands-on training.
• Assess trainees' progress and provide feedback to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure that all training materials and courses meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Update training materials and courses as needed to keep up with changes in regulations and industry best practices.
• Work with management staff to identify training needs and provide customized training solutions as needed.
• Conduct refresher training for experienced workers to reinforce safe operating procedures and help prevent accidents.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities and trainee progress.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential hazards and develop effective control measures.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs and recommend improvements as needed.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND)
• Must Be a certified confined space entrant, with a reputable organization or IADC , Opito, or OSHA or any other equivalent certification
• Must have a Minimum of Two (2) years working experience in a confined Space
• Be occupationally competent
• Have been trained in instructional/training techniques and/or have proven instructing experience.
