Job Title: Field Sales Manager

Responsibilities
  • Responsible and accountable for the achievement of volume targets by TCC DC in area, scorecard standards and the implementation of Channel Shopper requirements.
Key Outputs
  • Achievement of area volume.
  • Targets.
  • Overhead spend within.
  • Budget.
  • Training Sales Reps.
  • Stock in DC at required levels.
  • Stock write offs/returns within budgeted levels.
  • Informed TCC Management/Staff.
  • Achievement of scorecard standards.
  • All channel & customer plans implemented in every store in area.
  • Stock rotation standards achieved.
Success Measures:
  • Monthly Sales vs Budget printout.
  • Monthly Overhead Actual vs Budget printout.
  • Monthly Returns vs Budget printout.
  • Monthly Write Offs vs Budget printout.
  • Scorecard.
  • Contribution Statement.
Tasks Measures:
  • Callage on key customers in area.
  • Places weekly TCC stock forecast and order requirements.
  • Co travels with TCC and own staff to stores.
  • Conducts on job training.
  • Completes all required documentation.
  • Prepares sales target for Sales Reps.
  • Attends/hold meetings with TCC Management/Staff to review performance and communicate cycle implementation package (channel/customer).
  • Completes store audits.
  • Completes field visit reports (mini appraisals).
  • Conducts Bi Annual Performance Appraisals.
  • Assists in recruitment.
  • Co-ordinates Deloi Slicing people through 3rd party labour broker.
  • Conducts area visits to measure performance vs standards.
  • Scrutinizes TCC financial pack and makes recommendations/ highlights concerns to R.O.M.
Decisions:
  • Stock requirements by line item for TCC DC.
  • Allocation of resource to achieve objectives.
  • Stock write offs.
  • Utilization of cycle package to maximize sales.
  • Clearance of slow moving stock at a profitable level.
  • Seasonal sales plans.
  • Weekly / Daily.
Qualification and Experience
Experience Required:
  • 5 years Sales Experience.
  • 2 years in Management position at Field Sales Manager level.
Qualifications Required:
  • Matric.
  • Tertiary education ( IMM/Degree).
