Job Title: Travel Country Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Travel Country Manager to lead and manage our travel operations in a specific country.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including sales, operations, customer service, and finance.
- The ideal candidate should have a deep knowledge of the travel industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives, including sales targets and profitability goals
- Lead and manage a team of sales and operational staff to ensure high-quality service delivery to customers
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry associations
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
- Manage financial performance, including budgets, expenses, and revenue streams
- Develop and maintain a strong brand presence in the local market through marketing and promotional activities
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other departments to ensure alignment of business objectives and activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field; MBA is preferred
- Up to 10 years of experience in travel industry management or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve business objectives
- In-depth knowledge of the travel industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement effective business strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong financial management skills with the ability to manage budgets and financial performance
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other business software
