Job Description
The successful applicant will work with a set of dedicated staff, who are committed not only to teaching and achieving a high level of academic performance of the students in national examinations, but also in producing morally disciplined and self reliant citizens equipped for future leadership roles.
Requirements
Candidate for the post must not be less than 45 years and not above 55 years of age as at the time of this advertisement. She/He must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Education from a recognized University not below 2nd Class Lower grade or Bachelor’s degree in any field other than Education not below 2nd Class Lower grade with a PGDE.
- A higher degree of Masters or Ph.D in Education would be an added advantage.
- Computer literacy mandatory.
Experience
- The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years experience in the secondary school system, 5 of which must be at least at the level of a Vice-Principal, and at least 5 years in the private sector school system.
Tenure
The Principal shall hold office for a period of two (2) years in the first instance and renewable for another 3 years subject to satisfactory performance.
Conditions of Service
Candidate should have the necessary entrepreneurial and human management skills to work in a private school milieu.
