Position Details
This position will be responsible for the following:
- All engineering aspects in support of safe and efficient execution of non-rig type workover and well interventions operations offshore Nigeria.
- It will also provide all engineering operations support for a HWOU (Hydraulic Workover Unit).
- The roles of the workover/intervention team will include all well work within the pressure envelope, as well as rig-site preparation.
- The position will support in directing contract personnel, managing warehouse and logistics that support the operations.
Special Consideration
- Operations will be supported from Chevron Nigeria's Escravos facilities and shorebase near the mouth of the Escravos River.
- Security is well established at the Escravos shorebase.
- There is significant additional activity ongoing near Escravos with the nearing completion of the Escravos Gas to Liquids plant.
- The position will be primarily based in the Escravos Terminal in Nigeria but may be required be in Lagos office, deepwater, offshore or swamp rigs according to business needs.
Educational Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years relevant post-degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in Workover & Completion Engineering and Operations.
