United Geophysical (Nigeria) Limited is Nigeria's oldest oil service company having began operations in the western Niger Delta in the early 1960’s and incorporated as a limited liability company in 1971. The company has over 50 years of continuous operations specialising in land and swamp 2D, 3D and 4D seismic data acquisition and has conducted seismic surveys for all the major oil companies operating in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Technical Support Officer

Locations: Lagos and Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Full-time

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a minimum of second - class University Degree in Computer Science or another closely related field.
• All applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years experience as an IT Technician.

Key Requirements Includes:

• In depth knowledge of Windows 10, Cisco WebEx, Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365 and UNIX would be advantageous.
• Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software to all staff.
• Perform hardware and software installations, configurations and updates as required.
• Resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Effective troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Possession of a highly developed work ethic.
• Knowledge of current anti-viral software.
• Experience with internet management.
