We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Relationship Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Industry: Insurance
Job Grade: Deputy Manager

Purpose of the Job

  • Generate revenue through sales of Xyz Life Insurance's products
  • Ensure prompt and excellent service delivery to boost customer satisfaction.

Job Duties

  • Build and maintain relationship with Brokers to secure Group Life of Corporate Organizations Direct Marketing of Group Life & Group Welfare Plan for corporate organizations and SMEs
  • Grow profitable Xyz Life Insurance business through maximizing renewal retention, creating new business opportunities and initiatives including cross sell, up sell and additional new revenue streams
  • Draft proposals to advise clients on the policies that best suits their needs.
  • Develop strategic and practical product presentations that explain policies to clients Collect information from clients on their risk profiles in order to offer them proper solutions
  • Collaborate with Technical Operations to ensure quotations and policy documents are attended to timely. Collaborate with the Claims Unit to ensure claims are paid as at when due
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of new and existing Xyz Life Insurance products Achievement of annual sales targets
  • Any other job assigned by the Head, Corporate Distribution.

Job Requirements and Competency Specification
Academic Qualification & Work Experience:

  • First Degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Business Administration or any related discipline Professional membership/qualification and industry certifications such as CIIN, NIM, CFP etc
  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience required.

Required Competencies (KSA):

  • Excellent Sales and Marketing skills
  • Good knowledge of best practices in the insurance industry Sound knowledge of Nigerian Insurance regulations and practice Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Good knowledge of Operational Risk Management and Alternative Financial Service Channel
  • Negotiation & Customer Relationship Management skills Excellent Reporting and Presentation Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in the use of MS Office Applications Problem Solving and Decision-Making skills.
