We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Ago Palace, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the overall activities including needs and requirements.
• Ensure the proper oversight and scheduling of staff, equipment needs and performance, and raw material levels.
• Troubleshoot production equipment for mechanical issues and propose maintenance activities.
• Responsible for the quality of product and operational processes.
• Provide safety process recommendation and coordination as needed.
• Provide in-process quality inspections/checks for lot dates, weight and metal detection.
• Ensure adherence to GMPs.
• Coordinate equipment sanitation needs
• Provide summary and efficiency reports including production hours, material used and future production planning needs.
• Continuously improve process efficiency and drive cost reductions
• Ensure that employees perform all elements of assignment in a safe and productive manner
• Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives that produce total costs
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Must possess a qualification in Food Technology or equivalent
• 1-2 years experience required from a food or confectionery industry
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to deal with employees at all levels within the organization
• Strong oral and written skills.
