Job Title: Linux/UNIX Systems Administrator
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and support a highly available Linux servers in a fast-paced enterprise environment
- Consult with other technology teams
- Configure and maintain server security
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of Linux/Unix Administration experience
- Experience with virtualization
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency with shell commands and shell scripting
- Ability to work closely with peers, team members and others in a collaborative manner
- Proven work history supporting 24/7 mission-critical Linux/Unix systems
- Experience with centralized backup environments
- Experience with web server technologies
- Rudimentary knowledge of software engineering
