Job Description
- Maintains operations by implementing policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Coordinate team and accomplish related results as needed.
- Optimizes patients' satisfaction, consultant time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person and facilitating reminders of scheduled appointments.
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information includingHMOs enrollees toascertain coverage of plans and agreed tariffs.
- Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; controlling credit extended to patients. Ascertains approval codes and coverage of HMOs enrollee's plans.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in a relevant field.
- 3-5 years relevant experience as Customer Service in aHMO.
- Effective Communication Skills.
- Analytical and Time Management Skills.
- Experience in a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO).
