The team you would join

  • Sun King's partnership and business development team covering our partnerships business in West and Central Africa has been growing consistently over the last 5 years at remarkable scale with a large partner base of over 300 partners.

About the Role

  • We are looking for an experienced Partnership Associate who would leverage on their expertise to generate new sales leads and contacts to help grow our business across Francophone countries.

Responsibilities
What you would be expected to do:

  • Grow existing accounts.
  • Plan and manage continuous on-going engagement with partners.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Research and source new partners.
  • Drive onboarding of new partnerships.
  • Address and resolve partners’ complaints.
  • Collaborate with internal cross functional teams to provide partner inventory projections and process partner orders from order initiation to shipment phase.
  • Compile reports on account progress, goals, and projections for stakeholders.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of partners’ needs and requirements.

Requirements
You might be a strong candidate if you:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or a similar role.
  • Reside in Lagos Nigeria
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English is a must have.
  • Have a bit of knowledge in data Mining.
  • Proven experience in account management.
  • The ability to handle multiple client accounts.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and without supervision.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
