Job Title: Mixologist / Bartender

Location: Abuja

Job Description

• Mixing drinks, making syrups, infusions, tinctures, and cocktails of all types to fulfil customers’ orders
• Entertain customers while mixing drinks, talking to customers about spirits, and offering trivia and history about various alcohols to keep customers engaged and enjoying themselves
• Design quality, innovative new beverages, or cocktails menu items using the ingredients that are already supplied by the restaurant
• Clean, well-organised, and hygiene workplace
•  Maintaining all sanitation high standards of the restaurant and compliance to Food & Beverage Regulations, workplace safety and health regulations and Alcohol Laws
• Keeping bar well stocked and fully supplied for business operation and rise inventory forms to replace items as needed within company budget.
• Promo or suggest cocktails and mixed drinks to customers who are unsure about what they want to order
• Take correct orders, serve drinks, upsell, and collect payment transactions for the orders made by customers.
• Develop new cocktail recipe 
• To succeed as a bartender, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
• Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong task and time management abilities.
• Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
