Job Title: Store Attendant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Responsibilities
Below are the required job responsibilities of a Store Attendant:

  • Records the inventory of all storeroom items.
  • Maintains database, updating records to record supplies and materials received and dispensed.
  • Conducts physical inventories on a routine schedule.
  • Verifies inventory records and corrects discrepancies.
  • Distributes storeroom materials in accordance with requisition forms.
  • Orders materials needed to restock storeroom and maintain minimum inventory levels.
  • Ensures the storeroom is kept clean and orderly.
  • Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring physical stock is in line with the inventory management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy
  • Stocking shelves with products as directed by supervisors or managers
  • Ensuring that all warehouse operations run smoothly by communicating with other staff members
  • Performing basic bookkeeping tasks such as maintaining inventory records and preparing reports
  • Maintaining the organization of warehouse shelves to ensure that items are placed in accordance with company standards
  • Providing customer service such as answering questions about products or helping them locate specific items
  • Organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory records such as item location, quantity, condition, price, etc.
  • Loading and unloading trucks with inventory items or materials used for productions such as film, music, or theater
  • Communicating with clients about their orders, processing payments, and shipping goods to them
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements

  • A minimum qualification of SSCE.
  • 0 - 1 year work experience.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to update and maintain computer inventory records.
  • Ability to read and prepare packing slips and labels.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N40,000 - N50,000 monthly
