Job Title: Cashier

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Process and handle sales transactions with customers.
• Receives cash and other means of payment.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by greeting and welcoming customers.
• Calculate cost of products bought.
• Resolve customers’ complaints and provide relevant information about product.
• Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts.
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
• Scans goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Issue receipt, refund or change where necessary.
• Bag items orderly and carefully.
• Maintain clean and tidy check out area.
• Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer.
• Report issues with payment equipment.
• Performs sales and customer service duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of OND qualification
• 1 - 2 years of proven working experience as a cashier or a related field
• Must have good people skills as well as excellent management and customer service skills
• He must be knowledgeable in mathematical operations
• Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
• Outstanding communication skills
• Must be organised and punctual
• Applicants must reside at Lekki or its environs.

Salary
N50,000 - N60,000 / month.
