Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- The laboratory technician will primarily collect samples from doctors for medical testing, interpreting/writing reports on results and conducting imaging for pets at the request of doctors and or third parties.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct technical laboratory testing’s such as chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology.
- Ensure specimen/samples are properly labelled.
- Maintain accurate record keeping of all lab results and reports.
- Prepares laboratory analysis and compute a comprehensive report of all result of test samples and diagnostics carried out.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.
- Comply with all laboratory regulations in relation to safety, cleanliness and infection control.
Job Specification
- Minimum of 3 years as a Laboratory Technician.
- B.Sc. Holder in any Science related field.
- Professional knowledge of medical laboratory equipment’s principle application and maintenance routine.
- Adequate knowledge of laboratory safety measures and policies.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional inter-personal and teamwork personality.
- Smart attention to details and information submitted by clients.
- Ability to compile and analyse accurate reports.
