Job Title: Motion Graphic Artist

Location: Abuja

About the Role

• We are looking for a Motion Graphic Artist to develop quality content that meets the needs of high achieving learners.
• You’ll be responsible for the entire process of defining requirements, visualising and creating graphics including
  illustrations, logos, videos, layouts and photos.
• Your motion content should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message.
• For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the marketing team to develop quality content that meets the needs of both high- achieving learners and learners with special needs.
• Review content developed by fellow team members to ensure the best quality.
• Work with cinematographers and sound designers to produce interactive videos that meet the company’s internal standards.
• Work based on either pre-existing or innovative systems to ensure the growth of the company's library and content.
• Improve the quality of developed content as guided by the learner and/or colleague feedback.
• Provide swift responses to questions and inquiries made by the company’s subject matter experts and sound designers, as well as the learners.
• Study design briefs, conceptualise visuals and determine requirements
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.
• Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand developments

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven motion graphic experience
• A strong portfolio of work done previously
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro)
• Knowledge of other 3D Modelling software such as C4d or Blender would be an added advantage
• Ability to edit videos is a plus
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
