Job Title: Graphics Designer

Job Overview

• The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and visualizing graphics such as logos, illustrations, photos and layouts in order to inspire and attract the target audience.You’ll also be required to develop visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and more.
• The Graphic designer is to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Combine art and technology to communicate novel concepts through images and the layout of websites and printed pages.
• Meet with clients, the art director, account manager to determine the scope of a project.
• Advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience by developing design briefs that suit the client’s purpose.
• Estimate the time required to complete a job and provide quotes for clients.
• Use innovation to redefine a design brief with time and cost constraints.
• Commission illustrators and photographers.
• Work with text, images and a range of media, including computer-aided design (CAD).
• Demonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches while working on layouts ready for print.
• Review designs for errors and proofread to produce accurate and high-quality work.
• Present finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers.
• Keep up to date with emerging technology to remain competitive.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 3 - 5 years work experience.
• Proven graphic designing experience with strong portfolio of illustrations/other graphics.
• Familiarity with the most recent design software and technologies.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.

Salary
N80,000 monthly
