Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supervising all aspects of financial management, which includes budgets and forecasts preparation, formulation of financial strategies, and the development of internal financial policies and procedures.

Duties/Responsibilites:

• Develop a robust financial strategy
• Support otherteams to understand financial/accounting implications of transactions
• Research and advice on complex accounting issues.
• Work closely with management to pro-actively identify and manage financial risks and opportunities
• Ensure total oversight of all finance activities and documentation
• Ensure that accounting and financial systems for planning, managing and reporting are efficient, consistent, user-friendly, aligned with local statutory policies, laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate and updated financial documentation including but not limited to financial statements, payroll information, tax information, bank details etc.
• Pro-actively identify revenue and income leakages and develop tactical measures of correction.
• Operate and run efficient and effective book closing and internal control processes and procedures
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Report finance status and Key metrics to the management team

Skills and Responsibilities:

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics or related field
• Professional membership (ICAN or ACCA) is compulsory
• M.Sc is an advantage
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience with at least 2years in a managerial position as an Accountant/Finance Manager

Remuneration
N250,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
