Job Title: Associate Counsel - Litigation / Arbitration
Location: Lagos and Abuja
Responsibilities
- The role will involve successful candidates working closely with other associates in the Litigation/Arbitration team on a broad range of commercial subjects.
- You will be required to swiftly analyze and execute legal strategy in disputes from complex disputes of significant value.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A Law graduate from reputable University with at least a 2.1
- (LL.B and BL) LL.M Degree is an added advantage
- Minimum of 4 years of strong litigation experience.
- Experience in handling their own commercial litigation files.
- Ability to grasp quickly and accurately new and complex concepts and areas of law (essential)
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team (essential)
- Ability to balance priorities and co-ordinate work effectively in order to meet deadlines and deal with high workload. (essential)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (essential)
- Ability to deliver training to other colleagues (desirable).
- Candidates should have modem liberal outlook, be culturally aware, well-spoken and well presented.
