Job Title: Associate Counsel - Corporate Commercial
Locations: Lagos and Abuja
Responsibilities
- The role will involve successful candidates working with other associates in the corporate commercial team.
- You will be required to think creatively, laterally and commercially- balancing rules, regulations, risks, client interests and revenues.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A Law graduate from reputable University with at least a 2.1
- (LL.B and BL) LL.M Degree is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years corporate commercial law experience (for position 2
- Experience in general commercial advisory work, company secretarial, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, corporate finance, syndicated loans, real estate law (for position 2 above)
- Ability to grasp quickly and accurately new and complex concepts and areas of law (essential)
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team (essential)
- Ability to balance priorities and co-ordinate work effectively in order to meet deadlines and deal with high workload. (essential)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (essential)
- Ability to deliver training to other colleagues (desirable).
- Candidates should have modem liberal outlook, be culturally aware, well-spoken and well presented.
